When you visit our website, data is automatically transmitted (e.g., IP address, browser type, date/time) that is necessary for technically error-free operation and security. We use the consent management tool Borlabs Cookies on our website. Borlabs Cookies enables us to obtain and manage your consent to the use of cookies and external services in a manner that complies with data protection regulations.

5. Analysis and tracking tools

Matomo (web analysis)
This website uses Matomo to analyze usage in order to improve content and functionality. The IP address is processed anonymously. Processing only takes place with legal consent. Matomo is operated in compliance with data protection regulations and does not process any personal data outside the EU.

 

Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used exclusively for managing tags and does not collect any personal data itself. It only triggers tools for which separate privacy policies apply.

6. YouTube embeds

Videos from YouTube are embedded on this website. YouTube is part of Google LLC (USA); when the embed is displayed, usage data (e.g., IP address) is transmitted to Google. This only occurs with your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

7. Interactive map – Google Maps

We use Google Maps API to display location maps. When you load the map, data (including your IP address) is transferred to Google servers in the USA. This only takes place after consent has been given. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

8. External Links & Social Media

Our website contains links to social media profiles (e.g., Meta/LinkedIn/YouTube). When you click on these links, you leave our website; data processing is carried out by the respective provider (e.g., Meta Platforms, USA). 9. Contact form & communication

If you contact us via a contact form or email, the data you provide will be processed for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

10. Applicant and customer funnel (Tailent)

We use the software solution from Tailent GmbH on our website to provide applicant and customer funnels. Tailent enables the structured collection and pre-qualification of applications as well as contact and prospect inquiries via interactive forms.

 

The following personal data in particular may be processed in the course of use:

  • Name
  • Contact details (e.g., email address, telephone number)
  • Information on qualifications or interests
  • Additional voluntary information provided in the form

 

The processing is carried out for the purpose of:

  • Implementation and optimization of the application process
  • Processing customer and contact inquiries
  • Pre-qualifying interested parties

 

Tailent is used as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. A corresponding contract for order processing is in place. If the data entered is forwarded to other systems (e.g., applicant management systems or internal departments), this is done exclusively for the stated purpose.

 

The legal bases are:

  • Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contractual relationship)
  • Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), if requested

11. Application process

We process personal data that you provide to us as part of your application (e.g., name, address, qualifications). The legal basis is generally Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR

Purposes:

  • Conducting the application process
  • Selection decision
  • Inclusion in the applicant pool (with consent), if applicable

 

Transfer:

Within our human resources department, to the relevant departments and, if applicable, to group companies for the selection of applicants. External service providers (e.g., applicant management systems) may be involved.

 

Storage period:
Data is stored for as long as it is necessary for the evaluation decision. After completion of the process, data is normally deleted within 6 months, unless consent has been given for longer storage.

12. Third country transfers

Data transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA (in particular the USA) may occur, for example, when using platform services (Google, YouTube, social media, SmartRecruiters). These are carried out on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses or with your consent. There may be risks due to differing data protection standards in third countries; we implement technical and organizational measures for protection.
